Basingstoke Ice Rink - Update

We are pleased to announce a new operator for the Basingstoke Bison. This is a huge step forward for all the dedicated supporters who have been concerned about the future of both the rink and the team.
We are now beginning the process of building around the pad to position the barrier. Once in place, the barrier will need to be reclad, which could take a further four weeks to complete. The original plant room and snow pit area have now been demolished, and the resurfacer and snow pit will be relocated to a new position.

The small stands either side of the servery have also been demolished, and discussions are ongoing about how that space will be used.

Architects visited on Monday to finalise the drawings for the reception area, skate hire, and the downstairs café. Plans will include two new birthday party rooms, relocated offices and digital turnstiles.
